In 2021, I worked with Southern California's Stick Figure on a remix album called Fire & Stone.

I took songs from the band's much-loved World on Fire and Set in Stone albums and recreated them with new elements, to produce a unique 9-track collection of Prince Fatty remixes and dubs. This album reached Number 1 in the worldwide reggae charts (iTunes).

And we created a unique vinyl record to showcase it.

As Stick Figure writes:

This music is "re-imagined with all new instrumentation and feel thanks to the work of UK dub producer Prince Fatty and his team of amazing roots musicians. Art on this limited edition pressing was created by Juan Manuel, with the zoetrope design by Drew Tetz."

The zoetrope design creates 'moving' strips of pictures on the 12" vinyl record. You need to use a digital camera, or a strobe light, and a record player to fully see this effect. There are hidden animations, coloured in the resin of the disc. See the instructional video for more info on how to reveal the zoetrope.

After the first copies of this album sold out quickly, the Prince Fatty Store secured a small number of the second pressing, available now for shipping from London.
